About BISCOTTEA

Our passion is the creation, production and marketing of innovative contemporary baked goods which reflect the enormous growth in the demand for specialized, healthier cookies. Before BISCOTTEA there were few baked goods being marketed specifically to this segment.

BISCOTTEA shortbread is baked with all natural ingredients and some organic elements. We combine the richness of a traditional Scottish shortbread recipe with the health attributes of the teas, and coffees which are baked into each BISCOTTEA square.

Our home office is Seattle WA, USA and our bakery partners are in the USA and Scotland.

BISCOTTEA and Bis*coffee are sold in a growing number of world markets, including: USA, Canada, Great Britain, Japan, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, South Africa, Holland, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Mexico, Norway, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

How BISCOTTEA Started

Back in 2007 Derek, Nicci and Laurance started baking shortbread, biscuits and cookies in Seattle  the old fashioned way but with a modern twist to match the current lifestyle. Using only all natural, clean and healthier-for-you ingredients infusing real tea, and real coffee into BISCOTTEA products for great pairing with your favorite warm beverage.

Since then we got so many enthusiastic letters, calls and emails from people telling how much they enjoy our shortbread, so much so that it inspired us to spread even more. Now BISCOTTEA and BISCOFFEE shortbread cookies are selling over 16 countries thanks to you!

Although we don’t stop there… we keep thinking of new flavors and experiences for you, hence recently we added a range of Savory Baked Snacks to serve with dips, spreads, cheeses and patés for entertaining and pairing with wines and cocktail. Last but not least now we’re baking with natural fruit flavors, and adding coconut and cinnamon cookies to the range so both  kids and adults can enjoy these rich buttery treats.

BIS*COFFEE was developed in response to our coffee drinking friends In Seattle where we are based.

We source the finest Organic Coffee and bake them into the same crunchy shortbread that we use to make our tea –baked shortbread. We believe that you will enjoy them as much as our friends in Seattle do…”
